at&t announced today that it is "re-evaluating" it's 'relationship' with Tiger Woods in light of his sponsorship infidelity problems. Apparently he has exceeded the number of text messages allowed by his plan as well as sent messages to people "outside our network".

According to company spokesperson, J.P. Semidaily, "AT&T remains a world leader in 3G communications and there will be no impact to our customers, who comprise more than 80 percent of all 3G users." AT&T stock prices rose 30 cents during after hours trading on the news.

I would only like to know when we can eventually move past the "First black person to do" followed by a list of whatever the fuck is on the list of shit now.

Astronaut - Check
President of the United States - Check
Big Kahuna at UN - Check
Governors, Senators and US Reps - Check
Supreme Court - Check
AGUS - Check
Sec'y of State - Check

Really, I just don't give a fuck what the first is, it's pretty much irrelevant to me. If blacks want to do something, somewhere out there is a white person who is willing to do everything to make it happen even if the standards have to get lowered to do it. And until that one thing changes not one fucking accomplishment of a black is going to matter.

Clarence Thomas acknowledged this one simple fact years ago but very few took notice of it. The set asides, the 'inclusion', the 'diversity', all of which were nothing more than reverse discrimination, lowered the bar for them for years and persists now. The sad part is those who have truly accomplished something will never distance themselves from those who haven't done shit until this changes. It effectively cheats the deserving of all races of their rightful due.
